Accounts Payable Clerk

Details

LOCATION: Addison, TX

WORK TYPE: Accounting

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 2+ years of accounting or administrative experience

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect all invoices and maintain an outstanding invoice log.
  • Collect coded tickets from project management and reconcile invoices to coded tickets.
  • Work with project management and vendors on quantity discrepancies between field tickets and invoices.
  • Enter invoices into ComputerEase, matching the invoice with the proper Purchase Order, Subcontract or PSA. Scan and attach the physical invoices with corresponding tickets into ComputerEase and send off for approval.
  • Process and collect vendor lien waivers.
  • Prepare and print checks.
  • Organize and file digital and physical copies into job and vendor files.
  • Collect all coded credit card receipts, perform credit card reconciliations, and enter charges weekly into ComputerEase.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
  • Recognizing and preforming duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned, and assisting others as needed.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting or administrative experience.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. An AP Accounting Clerk is a basic problem solver, regardless of the situation. They are expected to fix situations while they are small issues and not allow them to grow into something major in scope or impact.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of ComputerEase or equivalent accounting software and Excel is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, Self-directed, works with minimum supervision.

Foreman - Earthwork

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.

Primary Responsibilities

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Knowledge
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
    • 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Skills
    • Ability to understand and analyze all aspects of the project, including project schedules, production, plans, specifications, and budget.
    • Ability to use Accounting Interfaces (ComputerEase).
    • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Project and Excel.
    • Abilities to use Bluebeam and Agtek takeoff software.
    • Ability to use HCSS Heavy Bid Software.
    • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attitude
