Human Resource Recruiting Manager

Details

LOCATION: Addison, TX

WORK TYPE: Human Resources

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leading full life-cycle recruiting activity.
  • Supporting candidates throughout all stages of the recruiting process and ensuring a world class candidate experience.
  • Creating job descriptions which attract the best talent for the position.
  • Collaborating with internal partners to deliver comprehensive support with the full life-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Partnering with business leaders to understand hiring forecasts, recruiting priorities and filling critical hiring needs in a timely manner.
  • Coaching and influencing the interview process to incorporate capability and competency-based assessments during their interview.
  • Assisting with on-boarding of new hires and having a culture-first mentality to ensure the people we hire are set-up for success.
  • Leading talent and process improvement projects.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Proven track record with recruiting, employee retention and development
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated recruiting/HR experience.
  • Experience with Human Resource functions including talent strategy and compensation.
  • Demonstrated experience building effective relationships and gaining credibility with hiring managers and executive leaders.
  • Ability to understand job requirements and business impact to help formulate a clear value proposition for attracting high caliber candidates.
  • Ability to manage the Onboarding process.
  • Proven ability to assess external candidates for capability to perform job requirements (i.e. culture fit, competencies, and other requirements).
  • Experience managing key metrics and providing impactful analysis to leadership.
  • Preferred background with leveraging social media in recruitment.
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment.

Grading/Dirt Foreman

Details

LOCATION: Dallas, TX

WORK TYPE: Operations

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 7+ years of experience of heavy highway and rehab supervising dirt/grading operations.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

Primary Responsibilities

The Grading/Dirt Foreman is responsible for grading and dirt operations for heavy highway, road and street rehab projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a grading crew performing mass excavation and fine grading operations according to the project’s schedule and budget.
  • Responsible for planning, production and safety of a grading/dirt crew.
  • Supervises and monitors progress and quality of work.
  • Responsible for daily maintenance and checks of equipment being used.
  • Responsible for assuring that all work assigned meets project plans and specs.
  • Comply with all OSHA and DDM safety policies and guidelines.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • 7+ years of heavy highway and street rehab experience supervising crews responsible for mass excavation, grading, lime/cement subgrade treatment, heavy haul, flexbase, embankment, drainage, and demolition.
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications to correctly and efficiently perform the operation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • Working knowledge of Trimble grade control systems.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, self-motivated and task oriented.

Heavy Equipment Operator - Dozer
